ATKINSON Gerald (Gerry) 16th May 2025, (Peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital), beloved partner of Mairi and dear father of Richard (Kelsey), Louise (Danny), Sharon & Steven also a loving grandfather of Nathan, Dylan, Saoirse, James, Brogan, Daire and Jacob and brother of Jim, Lily and the late Tommy, Jackie & Robert. Funeral from his home, 2 Sinton Court, Cookstown on Monday at 12.00noon, followed by interment in Forthill Cemetery, Cookstown at 12.30pm. Lovingly remembered by all the family circle.

Colton Stephen, Dromore, Co Tyrone, (formerly of 3 Abbey Court, Dromore, BT78 3JB) died peacefully on Wednesday 14th May 2025 in Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Katherine. Cherished brother of Adrian (Carmel), Edwin (Cathy) and the late Joseph. Brother in-law of Crea (Declan), Shane and the late Seamus Jnr. Loving and devoted uncle of Niall, Dermot, Peter, Matthew and Maeve. Son of the late Hugh James and Marjorie. Son in law of the late Seamus and Anne. Stephen will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2BY from 2.30pm until 7.30pm on Sunday 18th May 2025. Stephen will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 10.15am on Monday 19th May for 11am requiem Mass in St. Davog’s Church, Dromore, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route Stephen will travel from the Carnalea Road, and along the Dromore Road, Tummery Road, Esker Road, Church Street, Main Street and the Omagh Road, to arrive at St. Davog’s Church for 10.50am. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, brothers, in-laws, nephews, niece, cousins, and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.

QUINN – Killyclogher, 15th May 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Paddy (Packie) Quinn, formerly of Limehill, Pomeroy. Beloved husband of the late Mary (RIP), and cherished father to Geraldine (Mullin), Roisin (Cobane), Pauric, Colin, Feilim, and Fehin. Much-loved father-in-law to Mickey, Davy, Catherine, Paula, Grainne, and Joyclyn. Adored granda to fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Annie (Mullin), Maureen (Cush), Kieran, and Pete, and the late Kathleen (Gillespie) and JohnJoe (RIP). Paddy’s remains are reposing at his family home: 14 St. Mary’s Road, BT79 7JX until removal on Monday for 2pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The family kindly request that the home remains private before 11 am & after 10 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and on the morning of the funeral. Saint Joseph the Worker, pray for him. Deeply loved and sadly missed by his daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, extended family, neighbours, and wide circle of friends. The death has taken place May 16th 2025 at Altnagelvin Hospital of Dessie Reid, 179 Melmount Road, Sion Mills and formerly of Ardstraw. Beloved husband of Eileen, much loved father of Derek, Julie and Darren, dearly loved grandfather of Rachel, Isaac, Matthew and Calvin and brother of Irene and the late Eric, Ruby and Billy. Reposing at his home on Saturday (May 17th) from 4p.m. Funeral leaving his home on Monday (May 19th) at 12.20p.m. for Service of Thanksgiving in Ardstraw Presbyterian Church at 1p.m. Interment afterwards in Ardstraw New Cemetery. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sister and family circle. “The Lord is my shepherd”. BAIRD – 16th May 2025, peacefully at home, ‘Whitehaven’, 2 Dunclare Park, Dungannon, Sheila E. Dearly loved wife of Jim. Devoted mother of Marcus, Jason, Jeremy and Melanie. Beloved mother-in-law of Ursula, Judith, Ellen and Andy. Beloved granny of Daniel, Adam, Michael, Emma, Noah, Zack, Harry, Alexander, Amelia, Sophie, Ben and Hope. And step-sister of Joan. Service of Thanksgiving in Dungannon Baptist Church (Kindly granted) on Wednesday 21st at 1pm. Service preceded by a private interment. No flowers please.
