TYRONE woman Mary T Conway is today (Friday) still coming to terms with the monumental experience of meeting and dancing with legendary American musician Bruce Springsteen during his Belfast gig last night.
The video (below) shows the amazing moment that Mary T was invited to take the Boss’ hand for a dance in front of thousands of adoring fans.
Speaking with We Are Tyrone, Mary T (54), who has been a Springsteen fan since she was a teenager said she was blown away when ‘the Boss’ invited her up for a dance during the show.
The Creggan woman said, “I have been a big fan of Bruce for 40 years and I couldn’t believe it.
“During the song ‘Hungry Heart’ he was walking around greeting fans in the front row.
“Me and my daughters were sitting by the side of the stage at the pit and he walked right over, maintained full eye contact and reached out his hand and beckoned me to come over.
“There was no stopping me!
“I felt very privileged and very, very lucky.”
Mary T attended the concert on Thursday night with her two daughters, Caoimhe and Niamh, both of whom are also big fans of ‘the Boss’.
