Five new covid-19 cases in Tyrone council areas

NEW figures have revealed a further five confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Tyrone council areas.

Figures released by the Department of Health state that two more people have died and 26 further people have tested postive across the North.

Locally, in the three Council areas which cover Tyrone, there have been five more confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, but no new Covid related deaths have been reported in the areas.

The numbers remained the same in Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area with 80 confirmed cases and ten deaths reported by the Department.

Two new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) area as the number of cases increased to 166 compared to 164 yesterday (Tuesday).

No new deaths were recorded in DCSDC as the Department’s figure still remains at 20.

Three new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the Mid Ulster council area as the number of confirmed cases rose to 233 compared to 230, while the number of deaths in the council area remains at 29.
