FUNERAL arrangements have been announced for the 19-year-old Omagh man tragically killed in a road collision on the A5 road on Tuesday night.
The funeral service for Jamie Moore, of Festival Park, will be held in Mountjoy Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 3pm, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
According to information published on the website of Armstrong Funeral Directors, family and neighbours are welcome to call at Jamie’s home this evening (Thursday) from 7pm.
The funeral arrangements for 17-year-old Kamile Vaicikonyte, who also died in the accident, have not been announced at this time.
Meanwhile, in the wake of the latest tragic deaths on what has been dubbed Ireland’s ‘most dangerous’ road, PSNI Chief Constable Jon Boutcher has confirmed officers are to meet with Infrastructure Minister John O’Dowd next month to discuss ‘proactive measures’ regarding the A5.
The Infrastructure Minister had previously told the BBC that he hoped police would meet him ‘in the coming days’ to discuss the road.
