A RECENT quiz hosted by Omagh Credit Union in Omagh Leisure Complex was a roaring success, with a record 37 tables of four taking part for chance to earn a place in the ‘Chapter 17 Area Quiz’.
St Brigid’s PS in Mountfield took home the AJ Shannon Shield in the Under-13 section, with Omagh’s Loreto Grammar School in the runner-up position.
Claiming the Credit Union Cup in the Under-11 section was Omagh County PS, with St Conor’s PS claiming the runner-up prize.
The winning teams will now go forward for a place in the Chapter 17 area quiz, due to take place this Sunday (March 3) in Kelly’s Inn, where they will meet teams from Credit Unions across Tyrone and Fermanagh.
