THE father of Liverpool player, Conor Bradley has sadly passed away.
Joe Bradley (58) died earlier today, following a long illness.
His passing comes just days after Conor’s man of the match performance against Chelsea in the Premier League when he made two assists and scored his first ever goal for the Reds.
Originally from Killen, Conor Bradley has been in outstanding form for Liverpool since breaking into the first team.
A spokesperson from Liverpool FC has said, “LFC is deeply saddened by the death of Conor Bradley’s father, Joe, today. The thoughts of everybody at the club are with Conor and all of the Bradley family at this very difficult and sad time.”
“On behalf of Conor, LFC strongly urges that the family’s privacy is fully respected at this time.”
Since Joe Bradley’s passing, Liverpool fans have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to offer their condolences.
“I’m devastated to hear the news of Conor’s father sadly passed away,” said @SamueILFC. “I’m certain he would be proud of you especially of what you have achieved so far. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.”
