SOMETHING fishy has been going on at Dramatise Youth Theatre… and that is because ‘under the sea’ was the exciting theme of the drama school’s recent summer camp.
Over the course of three mornings, all participants dived deep into the lives of various sea life characters through voice, facial expressions and even gestures.
The enthusiastic group also created acquatic props, including fabulous fish, and the camp concluded with guest choreographer Sarah Jane McCrory from Craic Theatre, Coalisland who taught all the boys and girls a dance from the hit Disney show, ‘Moana’.
It truly is full steam ahead for DYT, who will be hosting a variety of themed workshops and offering after-school programs from September onwards.
