FALLEN trees have resulted in several roads in west Tyrone being blocked today, the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has confirmed.
Dfi staff have been out throughout the night dealing with Storm Ellen related incidents across the North.
There have been large numbers of trees falling down and obstructing roads.
In Tyrone, both the Killymore Road in Newtownstewart and the Kilnahusogue Road in Fintona have been blocked by fallen trees.
Meanwhile, the C672 Carncorn Road, in the Castlederg area, is closed.
A DfI spokesperson said, “Road users are advised to exercise extra care travelling this morning and keep an eye out for fallen trees, branches debris that we may not have been made aware of so far.”
The latest information on road closures is available on the trafficwatchni.com website.
