Shortly after a huge demonstration of community support for shooting victim DCI John Caldwell in his home town of Beragh in County Tyrone,police were dealing with a security alert at Dervaghroy Road on the outskirts of the town.
A stretch of the rural road has been closed off and diversions are in place.
