Suspicious object found in Beragh

Alan Lewis - PhotopressBelfast.co.uk. 25-2-2023 Shortly after a huge demonstration of community support for shooting victim DCI John Caldwell in his home town of Beragh in County Tyrone,police were dealing with a security alert at Dervaghroy Road on the outskirts of the town. A stretch of the rural road has been closed off and diversions are in place.

THE Dervaghroy Road in Beragh has been closed while police examine a suspicious object.

Members of the public should avoid the area.
