UUP announce West Tyrone General Election candidate

The Ulster Unionist Party (UUP) have announced their West Tyrone candidate in the 2024 General Election.

Matthew Bell former Fermanagh and Omagh District councillor has been selected to run in this years upcoming general election.

The date for the election has not been set but is speculated to be in autumn time.

Sharing the announcement, Mr Bell said, “I am honoured to announce that I will be standing as the Westminister Candidate for the Ulster Unionist Party in West Tyrone.

“West Tyrone has been failed for decades by poor political leadership. With an ever growing list of promised but undelivered projects in our constituency, I want to be a positive voice to help deliver these projects and give our community the representation it deserves.”
