THE Western Trust has said that they are expecting ‘disruption’ to services tomorrow as junior doctors across the North take part in industrial action.
The trust have said that they will arrange alternative dates for patients whose procedures are postponed due to the strike.
In a statement a spokesperson for the Western Trust said, “We are expecting disruption to our services and it is anticipated that a number of procedures will be postponed across our hospital sites. Any patients affected by the industrial action will be contacted directly and an alternative date will be arranged in due course. All patients with scheduled hospital appointments should attend for their appointment unless they have been directly contacted to advise it has been rescheduled.
