CLONOE earned their second resounding Division One victory in the space of just over a week as they dismantled Errigal Ciaran by 3-16 to 1-12 this evening.
They put seven goals past Edendork last weekend and were almost as prolific this evening as they picked up the two league points at home to Errigal.
Other sides to impress in Division One included Dungannon Clarkes, who got up and running at the third time of asking with a comeback victory over Loughmacrory.
Carrickmore kept up their rich vein of form with a tense 0-10 to 0-8 win against Coalisland.
Killyclogher also set aside a slow start to clinch a 2-12 to 0-8 victory over Galbally, while the Moy edged a thriller against Ardboe on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-20 with Jamie and Ryan Coleman getting the crucial late scores. Derrylaughan also managed a 1-11 to 0-10 victory over Eglish.
In Division Two, Greencastle impressed once again with victory over Clogher, though they didn’t get it all their own way against the south Tyrone side, who led early on.
Naomh Eoghan have been in top form and played out a 0-13 to 1-10 draw with the Rock, while Beragh got their first league win with a well-deserved 0-17 to 0-12 victory against Moortown. Stewartstown also got their first points on the board with a surprisingly comfortable win against Killeeshil. Strabane too got their first victory with a really strong performance against Kildress.
There were also a number of games played in Division Three, but Brackaville’s match with Drumragh was postponed as mark of respect to Josh Griggs, who died tragically earlier this week.
