BOSS-E Racing’s co-founder, Eva Mullen picked up a prestigious award recently.
The Strabane woman was nominated and shortlisted as a finalist at this year’s Local Sports Women Awards. The final, which took place on April 26th at the Europa Hotel was hosted by Localsportswomen.com and ‘The Boss Lady’ as she is affectionately known, found herself up against an array of talent from different sporting disciplines.
But to the team’s delight, Eva was crowned the winner on the night.
“To have been shortlisted was an honour but to have won it and to have been recognised for her participation and dedication to drive the female ethos within the world of motorsport was just priceless for Eva and the team.
“Many thanks to the judges who selected Eva to be the winner of this.”
Eva was quick to dedicate her award success to her late father, Martin.
“In regards to being shortlisted and selected from over 600 nominations is something I really didn’t think would even happen and now that it has,for me it shows that we are doing something right and now I can finally say ‘This one’s for you Popz!’”
Eva would like to thank everyone sponsors and the public who have supported the Boss-E Squad in anyway over the last five seasons but most of all, their two main sponsors who have been with them from the start: Colly Sweeney Painting and Maguire Brothers Plant Hire & Groundworks as they wouldn’t be where they are today without their support.
