Farmer believes he has the ‘Platform’ for success

KEITH Farmer is ‘excited’ about the season ahead in the Pirelli National 1000 Championship after being unveiled as the new Platform Hire team’s rider for 2021 this morning.
 
The Clogher native was to ride for Morello Racing this year, but after they were forced to withdraw from the  Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship, Farmer was left without a seat for the season ahead.
 
Having won the National 1000 crown twice before in 2012 and 2018, the Penrith-based racer was looking forward to the opportunity of making it a hat-trick in the class.
 
Unfortunately it looked like he may have to sit out 2021 as appealing rides became limited but his hopes were salvaged over the past fortnight when Platform Hire purchased the Morello Racing team and decided to bring the ‘Clogher Bullet’ onboard.
 
“I’m excited, it gives me a bit of relief and the motivation to go forward properly,” Keith beamed.
