MICKEY Harte has been appointed as the new manager of Louth, it was announced in an official press release from the county this evening.
Harte has been appointed on a three-year term and will be assisted by Gavin Devlin, with whom he formed a partnership at Tyrone before his long-standing tenure came to an end just over a week ago. They will also lead Louth’s U20 team.
The Errigal Ciaran man succeeds Wayne Kierans, who led the Wee County for two years. His immediate task will be to steer the side out of Division Four after they were recently relegated from Division Three, finishing bottom of the table.
