ALL-IRELAND Champions Tyrone have secured 15 nominations for the prestigious annual All-Stars, while Kieran McGeary and Conor Meyler are in the running for the footballer of the year award.
15 players have been named on the shortlist following a stunning season which saw Tyrone win the Sam Maguire for the fourth time, namely Niall Morgan, Paudie Hampsey, Peter Harte, Michael McKernan, Ronan McNamee, Kieran McGeary, Conor Meyler, Frank Burns, Brian Kennedy, Conn Kilpatrick, Mattie Donnelly, Conor McKenna, Niall Sludden Darren McCurry and Cathal McShane.
Kieran McGeary, Conor Meyler and Mayo stalwart Lee Keegan have also been nominated for the Footballer of the Year award, while Darragh Canavan was shortlisted for the Young Player of the Year award.
Mattie Donnelly is in the running for his third All-Star award, while captain fantastic Padraig Hampsey, Peter Harte, Ronan McNamee and Cathal McShane also won awards in the past. The awards ceremony will be held on Friday, December 10.
