ANDREW Moore was the big winner in Sunday’s races at Omagh Stockcar Club when he won the Ronald Blythe Memorial Cup.
The late Mr Blythe, who sadly passed away in 2003, was the original owner of the club’s track and drivers compete for the coveted trophy named after him annually.
Moore was the man to get his hands on the silverware this year, winning the 1600cc class from Paul McIvor, with Darryl Abraham in third.
Sunday’s races, which took place during only the club’s second meeting of a Covid-impacted season, proved an action-packed affair with tight racing in each of the five classes.
Matthew Rutledge won the Junior race from James McFarland, with Riley Lyons in third.
Rebekah McKenna was crowned ladies race winner from Diane Atcheson and Abbie Browne, who were second and third respectively.
