THE GAA has officially unveiled the fixtures for the upcoming national football and hurling leagues, and the Tyrone footballers are scheduled to play three Saturday evenings in a-a-row between the middle and end of May.
New joint-managers Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher begin their Division One ‘North’ campaign at home to rivals Donegal on Saturday, May 15 (5pm).
They then travel to Armagh the following Saturday night (May 22 at 7pm) before hosting Monaghan in their final group stage clash on Saturday, May 29 at 5.30pm.
The top two in each divisional group advance to the league semi-finals. The bottom two in each divisional group will play relegation semi-finals with the two losers of those matches relegated.
The hurlers get their Division 3A campaign underway at home to Monaghan on Sunday, May 16 at 2pm, though have five group stage matches in all in which to try to reach a league final berth.
