EVERYTHING is set for a great 2022 SPAR Omagh Half Marathon on Sunday.

This is the first Sunday event and organisers are expecting a great day.

There are slight changes to the course as the race will not pass through Killyclogher centre. The course will still have the four water stops and some music along the way!

The route will also miss out the T&F section, a largely popular choice!

Start times are: Half Marathon walk, 8:30am; Half Marathon run, 9:30am; 5K run, 9:45am.

There will be a help desk onsite and a bag drop has been added for runners to help on the day.

Unfortunately there will be no refreshments after the event.

“We are asking runners to try and get to the Leisure Complex area early as there may be congestion in the Omagh area. Parking information is on the final instructions information,” said an event spokesperson.

“We cannot stress enough to bring your race number with you! We will not have a replacement.

“There will be local business offering deals for runners as well, so keep an eye out for those on out Social media.

“We are looking forward to seeing everyone! Remember to smile for the cameras!”
