PHOTOS of yet another incident of fly-tipping in the Clanabogan area have emerged on social media, evoking an outburst of public ridicule and rage.
Publishing photographs of the litter-strewn verge on social media, the person who posted the pictures claimed to have identified the culprits by sifting through the rubbish and finding a package wrapping bearing a name and address.
“Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this while out walking!” they wrote. “Some absolute ***** using the county roads as a dump… However, this silly person has left details of their name and address in their litter.
“Please come and lift your rubbish,” they concluded. “I’ll keep your name hidden for now!”
Commenting beneath, members of the public noted that they had similar experiences, with one person stating, “I had a similar thing happen, and I landed at the door of the address I found in the bin bag. Makes me boil!”
Other comments labelled the actions of those responsible ‘a pure disgrace’, while others encouraged the poster to ‘name and shame’.
