Popular pharmacy praised as ‘essential’ part of town

LOCAL public representatives have praised Falls Pharmacy as an ‘important part of the community in Cookstown’, as the business celebrates its 60 year milestone.

Ulster Unionist councillor, Trevor Wilson, said, “Falls Pharmacy is a big part of our community in Cookstown.

“The Falls family have been providing an essential service for the last 60 years, and are well-liked and respected by everyone who knows them.

“They provide an excellent service, and all of their staff are extremely friendly and also very helpful.

“I wish them another successful 60 years and beyond in business,” he said.

“Long may they continue to be part of our community and serve the people of Cookstown.”

SDLP MLA, Patsy McGlone, added that Falls Pharmacy is very much an ‘insitution of the town’.

He continued, “The staff have all such great personalities, offer a good service, and I hope they have at least another 60 years of business in the town.

“I would like to especially pay tribute to the Falls family, most notably Malachy who established the practice with such a carrying nature, and Niall who is carry it on in the same vein.”
