On Saturday evening, viewers across the UK watched as Nicola Telford was driven out on to the set in her brand new Volkswagen campervan, worth £90,000.

The Tyrone woman told presenter Andi Peters she had entered the competition for the two prizes with just a single text.

Nicola told the UlsterHerald that she is planning to use the campervan with her family as soon as they get it.

“It is the perfect prize for me because I am never off the road,” Nicola said.

“We have rented campervans before and went to Galway and we had a great time. We have a lot of plans to go different places and cannot wait to receive the campervan.

“I actually missed the episode the competition was on because I was at work, but I caught it later on ITVX, entered once and won.”

Nicola travelled to London at the weekend along with husband Arnie and daughter Jayne, and thanked the people at ITV for their ‘brilliant’ hospitality.

She said, “They paid for us to stay in a really nice hotel beside their studio in London.

“All the cast and crew were great, but Andi Peters is a lovely man. He met us at the hotel and showed us around and our weekend fantastic.”

Nicola added, “The whole experience was fantastic.”
