Dunlop and Moore double up at the Cookstown 100

MICHAEL Dunlop sealed victory in the Bear Competitions Cookstown 100 feature race on Saturday.

The Ballymoney man set a new lap record of 91.773mph on his BMW en route to a 5.6 second success over Michael Sweeney, who finished well ahead of third placed Derek McKee’s Yamaha.

Organisers of the event had their plans upset on Friday as heavy rain led to qualifying being turned into free practice for all riders.
