Derg couple’s kind donation in memory of baby daughter

A CASTLEDERG couple have made a generous donation to Altnagelvin Hospital’s emergency department in memory of their baby daughter.

To mark little Elise Blossom’s third heavenly birthday, Toni and Stuart McCafferty, accompanied by other daughter Isla, presented dignity packs to grateful staff at the Derry hospital.

Colleen Hamilton, the emergency department’s manager/ lead nurse, said, “The dignity packs are provided for women who attend our Emergency Department (ED) who unfortunately may be experiencing pregnancy loss.

“We are very grateful to Toni and Stuart for their kindness and for helping with fundraising to help us to continue to keep this initiative active in our EDs.”

A Western Health Trust spokesperson added, “Thank you to Toni and Stuart who created these packs in memory of their daughter Elise on her third heavenly birthday.”
