MOUNTFIELD was a hive of energy on Saturday as runners of all ages geared up for the annual Mountfield run.

Taking place at Mountfield Community Centre, the run featured a lively five mile and 5km which kicked off at 11am, and 750 metre Primary School run which began at 10.30am.
