A NEW support hub for bereaved parents is on the way to Omagh, headed up by the Little Forget Me Nots Trust.
Taking place in collaboration with Support 2gether at Omagh Community House, the support facility will take the form of regular ‘Just Be Cafes.’
Set to be held monthly, the gatherings at Omagh Community House will take place on the second Tuesday of every month, starting from March 12.
Explaining a bit about the cafes, charity representative and Omagh woman Catherine Muldoon (pictured) said, “Just Be Cafes are designed to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for bereaved parents. Whether it’s through crafting, heartfelt conversations, or simply being present in the moment, participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities tailored to their needs.
“Guiding us with her warmth and expertise is Nikcollette, who is dedicated to ensuring that every participant feels heard and valued. Together, we aim to create a space where individuals can connect with others who understand their journey and offer mutual support in a safe and compassionate setting.
“In addition to Omagh, the cafes are also expanding our presence to other locations. Just Be Cafes will be taking up residency at the Holywell Trust Building on Bishop Street in Derry/Londonderry and The Glass Room in Lurgan.”
