THE Trillick community recently came together for a special birthday celebration in honour of Canon John McKenna, PE Kilskeery, who turned 90 on May 12.
Following the regular Sunday morning Mass, a reception was held at Trillick Leisure Centre. Family members travelled from his native Monaghan and from the USA to attend the event, joining local parishioners in celebrating a life devoted to spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and community service.
The occasion offered an opportunity for the community to express their gratitude and admiration for Canon McKenna’s many years of dedication and guidance.
