McKenna (Dungannon) Barney R.I.P died 19th January 2026. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Donaghy) R.I.P. Much loved father of Colin (Susan), Audrey McNally (Niall), Bernard (Annemarie). Darling grandfather of Darragh, Susannah, Niamh, Killian, Simon, Sean, Stephen, Shannon and great grandfather of Charlie and Fiadh. Son of the late John and Kathleen McKenna of Newell Road Dungannon R.I.P. Cherished brother of Patsy, Sheila and the late Bridie, Ann and John. Barney will be reposing at 9 Corrainey Gardens, Dungannon, BT70 1UE on Monday from 3.30pm to 10pm and on Tuesday from 12noon to 10pm. Removal on Wednesday to St Patrick’s Church, Dungannon for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in Carland Road cemetery. Very deeply regretted by the extended McKenna and Donaghy family circle and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
The death has taken place January 18th 2026 at Melmount Manor of Dr. Frank Friel, late of 34 Ballycolman Road, Strabane and formerly of Carndonagh. Beloved husband of the late Benigna (Ben), much loved father of Karen, Frank and Tona, dearly loved grandfather of James, Lucy, Molly, Sophia, Daragh, Cara and Tom and brother of Joan, Helen, Rosemary and the late Anne, Myra and Denis. Reposing at his daughter Karen Coyle’s home, 17 Carrigullin Road, Strabane (BT82 8PA) on Monday (January 19th) from 5p.m. to 9p.m. and on Tuesday (January 20th) from 5p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral leaving his daughter’s home, on Wednesday (January 21st) at 11.20a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Melmount at 12 noon, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Bratton Patrick Edward (Eddie), Burnley and formerly Fintona, Co Tyrone, passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Sunday 18th January 2026. Beloved son of the late Robert and Mary. Treasured brother of Noelle Sweeney (Seamus), Harry (Anne) and the late Gretta. Eddie’s cremation will take place in Burnley, and at a future date his requiem Mass will take place in St. Lawrence’s R.C. Church, Fintona, followed by the interment of his ashes in a family plot in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sister, brother, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. May he Rest in Peace, St. Padre Pio pray for him.
