Donegal’s rising star in the music world, Muireann Bradley is set to play her first headline gig in Omagh this March.
Taking to social media to announce the news earlier this week, Muireann will perform at Ophelia’s Loft at Daly’s on Friday March 29 at 8pm.
Having also revealed 16 live dates in venues across Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands, the Ballybofey teen is now looking forward to a busy 2024. Rising to stardom after her outstanding performance of ‘Candyman’ by Rev Gary Davis on ‘Jool’s Annual Hootenanny’, the singer and guitarist was the only act to receive a standing ovation on the night.
Following this appearance, the Ballybofey school girl has performed on the likes of The Late Late Show and BBC Radio 2.
And with pitch perfect vocals throughout every performance, it was no surprise when Muireann received a nomination for the Ticketmaster Awards earlier this week.
BIG BREAK
Initially, after her success on YouTube with her rendition of Blind Blake’s ‘Police Dog Blues,’ and following 100k views she was soon contacted by Josh Rosenthal of Tompkins Square Records who suggested she record an album which was released in December entitled ‘I kept these old blues.’
Muireann is currently in the running for ‘Irish Rising Star for 2024.’
Voting lines are now open for fans to cast their votes.
