A LOCAL father and daughter have raised an incredible £5,568.42 for Parkinson’s Support Fermanagh after completing the Omagh Half Marathon earlier last month.
Gordon Farrell and Natasha Farrell, from Dromore, took part in the race on April 6 to raise funds for the charity, which provides vital services to those living with Parkinson’s and their families.
The Farrells recently visited members of Parkinson’s Support Fermanagh to hand over the cheque and hear personal stories from those the organisation supports.
The group expressed deep gratitude for the donation, which will go directly towards enhancing the quality of life for its members.
“Dad and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind donations,” said Natasha. “Parkinson’s has affected our family closely, and we have seen first-hand how this support group has positively benefited those impacted by Parkinson’s and their families.
“We’re absolutely delighted that we were able to raise this money for a fantastic cause.”
