A TOTAL of over 400 people have now tested positive for the coronavirus in the three local government districts which cover Tyrone, new figures from the Department of Health have revealed.
The statistics show that since the pandemic began 77 people have tested positive in the Fermanagh and Omagh area, a further 157 in Derry and Strabane and 175 in Mid-Ulster.
Three more people have died from COVID-19 in the north, bringing the total to 438 overall.
In the Western Trust area, which covers the Fermanagh and Omagh and Derry and Strabane council areas, there have been 896 hospital admissions for people with the virus. A total of 653 of them have been to Altnagelvin, and 243 to the South West Acute Hospital.
