A MAN has died following a crash outside Strabane on the A5 this afternoon (Tuesday).
Sinn Fein MLA, Maliosa McHugh said the news was ‘absolutely heartbreaking’.
The West Tyrone MLA said, “Absolutely heartbreaking news through this evening with the death of a local young man, tragically killed in an accident on the A5 outside Strabane.
“This news has shocked and saddened the whole community. I want to extend my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to his immediate and wider family circle at this very difficult time.”
The PSNI had advised motorists to avoid the Victoria Road, Ballymagorry area following a two-vehicle collision which happened at around 3pm.
