Cllr Donnelly previously stood for the seat in the 2017 assembly election, achieving 2.8 per-cent of first preference votes.

Matthew Beaumont has also announced his selection to run for a seat in the Fermanagh and South Tyrone constituency.

He tweeted, “Honoured to be the @allianceparty candidate for Fermanagh and South Tyrone in the 2022 Assembly Election. Thank you to local members for your support, I hope to do you proud!”
