A CHARITY shop that has been operating in Omagh for the last six years has moved into new premises.
Drop Inn first opened its doors on the Dromore Road in 2014.
Amy Anderson, the charity’s operational coordinator, said, “Through the support we’ve received from the Omagh community, we have been able to fund feeding and education programs for children and vulnerable people who are living in poverty across the world.
“These projects really are vital for the people who are part of them; they bring hope and the opportunity to improve their lives, the lives
of their families and their community.”
The charity has now moved into new premises in Omagh, which opened on Monday morning. Drop Inn can now be found in the Dromore Road Retail Park, beside the Dreams bedding store and opposite McCullagh’s Classic Service Station.
Amy said that, this year, the charity was “really pleased” to be to able to support a project based in Omagh.
She said, “We are helping to support Omagh Community Church’s annual community Christmas dinner.”
The operations coordinator added, “We are really excited about moving into our new premises and we are looking forward to welcoming back our regular customers, as well as new faces, after this especially difficult year. From our staff and volunteers, we would like to say a big thank you to the people of Omagh.”
The Omagh branch is open from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
