Class A drugs found and laptops seized during search

OFFICERS say a suspect will have ‘a few difficult questions to answer’ after they found Class A drugs ‘hidden away’ in their Omagh property during a ongoing fraud investigation, during which laptops, mobile phones and banking documentation were also seized.

A statement posted to the Fermanagh and Omagh PSNI Facebook page said, “Officers from Omagh CID were assisted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Support Team this evening carrying out a search of a property in the Omagh area.

“The search related to an ongoing fraud investigation, during which laptops, mobile phones and banking documentation were seized.

“DST officers never miss a trick and also located suspected Class A drugs hidden away in the property.

“The suspect will have a few difficult questions to answer during interview! #KeepingPeopleSafe”
