Coronavirus: Nine more deaths in the North

A FURTHER nine people in the North have lost their lives to coronavirus today, the Department of Health has confirmed.

This brings the total number of deaths recorded in Northern Ireland to 216.

Figures released by the Department of Health earlier today showed that there are a total of 904 confirmed cases of coronavirus across the North.

Locally, the Fermanagh and Omagh council area has 40 cases, Derry City and Strabane 35, while Mid Ulster has 23.

Belfast has the most confirmed cases with 272, followed by Lisburn and Castlereagh with 109.
