A FORMER public toilet block located in Drumquin has been put up for sale by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.

Sure to interest anyone ‘flush’ with cash, this unique property, around 1725 sq ft in size, is located on the Omagh Road close to the centre of the village.

Speaking to the UH, Keith Pollock described the vacant building as the ‘ideal site’ for a small business.

“It is a very unusual and unique site”, admitted Mr Pollock. “It is the ideal size for a small commercial unit, like a hairdresser or retail business, located very close to the centre of the village.

“We have sold several public buildings for the council as part of restructuring plans. Usually, there is no building on the site however, in this case, the building is still intact.”

A spokesperson for Fermanagh and Omagh District Council said, “Fermanagh and Omagh District Council can confirm that the former toilet block in Drumquin is being sold in line with its Acquisition and Disposal Policy.”
