Police are appealing for information following the report of a theft of a digger from Crockanboy Road in the Greencastle area over the weekend.
It was reported that between 3.30pm on Friday afternoon (February 5) and 11.15am on Saturday morning (February 6), an orange-coloured 22-tonne Hitachi digger was taken from a yard.
The digger is described as having one orange beacon and one green beacon.
Police in Omagh are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw any suspicious activity, or who saw a digger matching this description being removed from the area, to call 101, and quote reference number 705 of 06/02/2021.
