A FURTHER person has died from Covid19 in the Omagh council area.
The latest Department of Health (DOH) figures revealed that there has been one further Covid-19 related death in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area on Wednesday, November 25 bringing the total figure to 27.
The total number of Covid-19 related deaths in the North has risen to 954, with seven more deaths reported by the DOH yesterday, while 533 positive cases were reported yesterday.
The figures also revealed that there was 168 positive cases of Covid19 confirmed in the three council areas which cover Tyrone.
Thirty four new cases were confirmed in Fermanagh and Omagh District council area with 141 confirmed in the past seven days, taking the total to 2,067.
The seven-day incident rate for positive cases per 100k people in Fermanagh and Omagh council area now stands at 120.7 per 100k, for the week of November 18 to 24.
Derry City and Strabane District Council area continues to have the highest number of Covid cases within a Tyrone area, with 67 new cases confirmed on Wednesday and 283 cases identified within the past week. The total number of cases in the District stands at 6,690 with 76 deaths reported.
In Mid Ulster, 303 new cases were reported in the past seven days with 67 of them identified yesterday, taking the total to 4,049 cases and 69 Covid19 related deaths since the outbreak began.
