THERE will be no gaelic games club action at either underage or adult level in Tyrone until May 5 next following the latest directive from the GAA.
In a statement issued this evening, the Association also announced that the provincial and All-Ireland inter-county championships would not start until July at the earliest.
It means that Tyrone’s high profile and eagerly anticipated clash against Donegal in the Ulster Championship will not take place as scheduled next month due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The GAA has said that all its decisions are based on the best medical advice.
Domestic adult competitions in Tyrone had originally been ixed to begin on March 28 and were then postponed until April 30. The county will now extend its restrictions in line with GAA advice.
