Covid-19 continues to spread across the North with a total of 3,463 cases confirmed.
In their daily update, the latest figures released yesterday afternoon by the Department of Health confirmed that a further nine people had lost their lives to Covid-19.
This brings the total number of deaths to 338 since the start of the outbreak.
There was also 55 more cases of coronavirus diagnosed in the North, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 3,463.
The figures also revealed that thirty Covid-19 patients are being treated in intensive care units and there have been outbreaks recorded in 69 care homes.
On Tuesday, the North recorded its highest number of deaths since the outbreak began with 20 deaths as a result of Covid-19.
