Man left ‘shaken’ after Killskeery burglary

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Killskeery, just outside Trillick, in the early hours of Friday, March 15.

Police have said that the homeowner was at home in bed when a sum of money was taken and the kitchen of the property was ‘ransacked’.

Detective Sergeant Curley said, “At approximately 12.30am, police received a report of a burglary at a house on Fingerpost Road in Kilskeery.

“Two men are believed to have gained access to the property after breaking through a door.

“They ransacked the kitchen before making off on foot with a sum of money.

“The homeowner who was in bed at the time of the burglary was uninjured, but has been left badly shaken by their ordeal.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with inquiries to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference 30 of 15/03/24.”
