Police are appealing for information following a report of a stabbing in Strabane in the early hours of yesterday morning, Sunday, May 12.
A report was received shortly before 1.40am stating that a man, aged in his 20s, was found with injuries believed to have been caused by a knife.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
At this stage, we are trying to establish exactly where the stabbing occurred in the town.
The injured man was located in the Melvin Road area, but we believe he may have been injured elsewhere.
We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have dashcam, CCTV or other video footage. The number to call is 101 quoting reference 157 of 12/05/24.
