Mid Ulster Council open book of condolence for Pope Francis

MID Ulster Council has opened a Book of Condolence following the death of Pope Francis.

The physical Books of Condolence was opened from this morning at the Burnavon, Cookstown; the Hill of the O’Neill and Ranfurly House, Dungannon; and The Bridewell, Magherafelt.

An online Book of Condolence can be signed at www.midulstercouncil.org/bookofcondolence.

Chair of the Council, Councillor Eugene Mcconnell, said: “”I am deeply saddened at the passing of His Holiness, Pope Francis, a man whose life was devoted to compassion, inclusion and the service of others. I offer sincere condolences to all those affected by this loss.”
