Nine more people have died after contracting Covid-19 in the North.
The Department of Health confirmed that today (Thursday) a further nine people have sadly lost their lives to Covid-19.
This brings the total number of deaths to 347 since the start of the outbreak.
There have also been 73 more cases of coronavirus diagnosed here, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 3,536.
Covid-19 cases have now been identified in 70 care homes.
Health Minister Robin Swann says there were 2,243 tests carried out yesterday (Wednesday) in relation to Covid-19 – the biggest total to date.
Mr Swann also ruled out any change to Northern Ireland’s Covid-19 restrictions warning there would be no “major or sudden shifts back to the way things used to be”.
