THE number of coronavirus cases in the Fermanagh and Omagh District has reached record levels for the past three days in a row.
More than 300 people have now tested positive for COVID-19 this week. There were 113 on Tuesday, 133 in the figures for Wednesday and 130 for up until midnight on December 30.
Statistics released by the Department for Health this afternoon show that up until midnight on December 30, there were 233 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hour period to December 30.
The latest figures come as concerns grow about the spread of a new variant of the disease.
