Three people arrested after suspected drugs found in Cookstown

THREE people have been arrested after a suspected drugs seizure in Cookstown.

Police said the suspected drugs were found in a vehicle which was stopped in the town on Thursday afternoon.

“A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a significant amount of suspected Class A and Class B drugs,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“Three individuals were arrested and have since been interviewed.

“We remain committed to tackling the harm caused by illegal drugs and thank the public for their continued support.
