THE total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the three council areas covering Tyrone remains at 61 after the north reported another day without anyone dying from the virus.
Latest figures from the Department for Health show that in the previous 24 hours there were just six new cases of people testing positive from the disease.
In the Tyrone council areas of Fermanagh and Omagh, Mid-Ulster and Derry City and Strabane, the number of positive cases currently stands at over 500 – 86 in Fermanagh and Omagh, 253 in Mid-Ulster and 177 in Derry City and Strabane.
