Trust pays tribute to ‘highly valued’ staff member

THE Western Health and Social Care Trust has paid tribute to Ballygawley woman, Nuala McLaughlin, who died last week.

The 43 year-old passed at at the South West Acute Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.

In the statement, the Trust said it was deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Nuala.

“The challenges faced by the COVID-19 pandemic have been very tough on all Health and Social Care staff and it is most difficult when we lose one of our own directly for the first time to the disease,” they said.

“Nuala was a highly valued member of our team and more importantly our friend.”
