POLICE in Dungannon are urging drivers to be vigilant after nails were found scattered on Stiloga Road between Eglish and Benburb in recent weeks.

Constable Hugh McKay said, “We have been made aware of at least six incidents of this nature in the past fortnight and of cars being damaged as a result of this.

“Incidents of this nature could result in someone being injured.

“We are making enquiries into this, however, in the meantime, I am urging drivers to be cautious.

“I would appeal to anyone who sees any suspicious behaviour, or has any information about these incidents, to call police in Dungannon on 101.”
